A book on Jacqueline Kennedy not to be missed:

After her husband's assassination on November 22, 1963, Jackie became the guardian of the Temple. She refuses all interviews and devotes herself to building the JFK Library. For this building, she chose the architect Pei - who would go on to design the pyramid at the Louvre in Paris. She accepts two interviews: with William Manchester, for his investigation Death of a President, then with John's former special advisor, Arthur Schlesinger Jr-which her daughter Caroline will publish.

In 1964, she supported Robert F. Kennedy's New York State Senate campaign until his election. Then, she was at his side during the 1968 primaries until his assassination.
